Start your wine country tour with hotel pickup from downtown Portland, and make your way by Mercedes Sprinter Van to three wineries carefully chosen by us. Portland is the perfect hub for exploring quiet backcountry roads through Oregon’s wine country, with more than half of the state’s 500 or so wineries located about 45 minutes away in the nearby Willamette Valley taking in beautiful vistas of gently rolling hills that give way to the expansive valley with views the Cascade Mountains. At each winery, taste a select group of varietals that will please even the most discerning palate, from reds like Pinot Noir Cabernet Franc to award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Riesling & more. This was our first wine tour in Willamette and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Niko was fabulous and very knowledgeable. We visited three small wineries, all with great views and good wine. I would highly recommend Niko as a tour guide.

Myself and a friend were in Portland for the first time for a long weekend. We wanted to see the vineyards and wineries but were a little overwhelmed with how many there were. This tour was the perfect amount of time! We left our meeting spot at 12:30 and took about an hour ride out to the vineyards. Our tour guide was very personable and knew a lot about wines. We made 3 stops which was actually the perfect amount. We were able to actually enjoy the wine and scenery instead of feeling rushed. The van we took was also very comfortable. For a first-timer to the Willamette Valley Wineries, I would definitely recommend this tour!

If you want to taste the great wines of the Willamette Valley, this is for you. Pick up is at your hotel and it’s a small group - we were 7. Evan was one of the most knowledgeable guides we ever had. Beyond wine, he knew agriculture, history & terrain. We visited 3 wineries for about 45 minutes each and had 18 tastes - all included! You will not find better value than this. Highly recommended.
