We cannot thank our Tour guide Russ enough for his service and attention to detail. He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and fun and provided us with a great experience. This interesting tour covered all the main parts from Anchorage downtown all the way till Whittier along the scenic Seward highway. He showed us many great places and even offered a personal tour to the Matanuska glacier which was such a great drive and experience and we are so glad we did that tour also with him. He also recommended a great place to view the New year fireworks celebrations In Anchorage and helped us with some last minute stops such as the Anchorage museum and restaurant drop off since we didn't have a car. His caring attitude and enthusiasm is exemplary and we would definitely recommend him.

Having had most our other tours cancelled due to weather, Russ saved our vacation! He tailored the tour to our preferences and we ended up in beautiful places and sceneries that we never would have found by ourselves. Thank you Russ!

I had a great time seeing the sights in Anchorage and the surrounding areas. Russ was a great tour guide, and took us on an "earthquake tour" throughout the downtown area. It was fascinating to learn how severely Anchorage was affected by the 1964 earthquake. In addition, Russ took us around residential areas in Anchorage and pointed out what he perceived as each participant's dream house :) (he was spot on, in case you're wondering.) We saw animals in a wilderness preserve, took a scenic drive down beautiful Seward Highway, and stopped for photos along the way. We also went to a little fishing town called Whittier for lunch, and learned about the unique way of life for the residents. I was a solo traveler (in AK for business), and this was a great way to see the city and surrounding areas without having to worry about driving or creating an itinerary. It truly is a fantastic way to see Anchorage in one day. Only caveat - there is no opportunity for souvenir shopping. You'll have to do that on your own time.
