What To Expect

The Wizard of Oz Museum

Dolls, Comics, toys, maps, original props and costumes, collectible figurines, posters, and fine first editions (including the earliest recorded copy of the book, THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ from 1900 are just some of the treasures waiting to be experienced – with plenty of surprises (and photo ops!) along the way.

This place has so much amazing Wizard of Oz memorabilia to see! By QR codes, the owner tells a story of the items as you walk through the museum! We'll be back!

Not what I expected, but so glad we went! This is a vast private collection of Frank Baum and Wizard of Oz historical memorabilia starting from the late 1800’s. The owner made it fun for younger children by giving them a sheet of animals to find in all the display cases, and awarded them a prize at the end. The immersive show is based on the Oz books, not the movie, so read the story description on the wall prior to viewing. The Van Gogh show was a nice plus and very beautiful. Overall a unique attraction, and a surprising gem in Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral.
