What To Expect

Goose Island Beer Co.

Goose Island has become synonymous with Chicago beer. Founder John Hall helped set off the craft beer craze when he started Goose Island in 1988. They continue to be guided by their respect for the history and culture of beer as well as a passion for, and innovation in, brewing. Our visit to the Goose Island Brewhouse includes generous samples of beer and a beer tasting experience.

Metropolitan Brewing

Metropolitan was founded by Doug and Tracy Hurst. They began brewing German style lagers in 2009 and have since moved to the forefront of the Chicago Brewing scene. Enjoy samples of their refreshing brews at their amazing location with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the North Branch of the Chicago River.

Revolution Brewing - Brewery & Taproom

In a very short time, Revolution has become a leader and innovator in the industry. The evolving tastes of beer drinkers has demanded bigger flavors, more variety, and better beer. Experience the variety with generous samples of beer during our stop.

We went on the best of the west tour. We had a great time! We went to AfterThought for our first stop since Noon Whistle had their Oktoberfest going on. It was a great smaller brewery with delicious saisons. After that we went to Alter in Downers Grove and got a tour of their facility. After that, we finished at Whiskey Hill. It was a great way to taste two breweries I have not been to and didn’t have to worry about driving. I’ll be taking more tours!
