Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

Dress code: Sturdy & Secure Footwear Required, no heeled shoes / flip flops / wimpy sandals, no dresses or skirts.

We run zip tours rain or shine. We cancel only because of high winds or lightning.
Zip lines vary in length and height: up to 1000 feet long, and about 85 feet high.

This was the first time my daughter and I had ever ziplined before. Being the oldest one of the group, I was quite nervous and a tad bit scared. Julia and Drew were our "coaches" and they were fabulous. They were very encouraging and supportive and we had an awesome time. It was worth the money. I encourage anyone to try it just once. Beware of #7!!! Its the scary one

The staff/crew were the best part of this experience!! Professional and helpful, while also laid back and fun! The forest is beautiful and while some parts are maybe slightly more challenging (climbs, etc) most fitness levels can handle the terrain. And the lines are varied in length and difficultly, so you get a full zip-lining experience. All that plus an easy distance from Nashville and reasonably priced makes it great value!

We were in Nashville for a family vacation and decided to give this a try for the first time! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!! Our guides Holly and Mason were AMAZING!! Would recommend this to EVERYONE!
