Excursion de 2 heures en kayak dans le safari de Shem Creek

Aperçu
Explore Charleston's most iconic creek by sea kayak to see native wildlife and learn about the local history. As we paddle past oyster-lined marshes and down by the shrimp boats, we'll see animals like bottlenose dolphins, pelicans, egrets and more. In the summer months, manatees and sea turtles call this creek home, too! Coastal Expeditions guides lead you on this adventure, while making sure that the experience is safe and fun for all ages.

We are a family of 5 with 3 teens. The paddleboard tour of Shim Creek was excellent- fun for the whole family. Graham did an excellent job leading the tour and giving the correct amount and kind of info. He was entertaining but informative. The tour was 2 hours- not too long or short. Highly recommended for families!

Thank you for coming out with us! Shem Creek is such a breathtaking place to explore, especially via paddleboard. Graham is a wonderful guide with an innate gift of educating and storytelling. We are so glad y'all came out with us and we hope to see y'all again in the future. Best, Madison

My family LOVED our guided kayak tour! We chose the Shem Creek option since we've watched kayakers on the creek before and hoped to see dolphins. We didn't see any dolphins (we learned during the tour that the 9 AM tour coincides with low-tide so it wasn't likely we would see them, and we consider this info the only downside...it would have been helpful to know a later time would have been better for potentially seeing dolphins), but our guide Graham was so knowledgeable and helpful that this tour really made our trip! We learned so much and the kayaking was made so relaxing with the type of kayaks we used (rudders are life-changing...no sore arms for us). We are excited to try other tours in the future!

This is a must do while visiting the Charleston area. My daughter & I rented kayaks for a 3 hour tour of Shem Creek. Using the supplied map & suggestions from our dock guide, we could explore at our own pace. Even though I have some minor mobility issues, entry & exit to the water was not difficult. I highly recommend! Memories were made on the water. Thank you Coastal Expeditions!
