We spent the whole afternoon on the Big Bus. Our guides name was Ivory, what a fantastic person. He new everything about Miami. He keep the crowd entertained and gave the bus crowd a history of Miami. We saw so many of the neighborhoods we could not have done all of this in one day with the Big Bus and Ivory. I highly suggest that everyone going to Miami should take this Tour. Thank You Ivory you made our Trip.

I’ve seen this company around, and thought it would be a decent option to try. Long story short, we boarded stop nine with guide Alex...this guy was a jerk. The bus was full with no seats, yet he yelled at us and others that we must find a place to sit. I took a seat on the floor as my friend sat in a seat that was soaked with water from the AC unit. Luckily it wasn’t long until we made it to the start, stop 1. Nonetheless with Alex’s attitude I had enough. You don’t get in the tourism business to get mouthy with guests. I never said a word, nor did anyone else, yet he was pretty rough with several guests. The coaches were filthy and appeared in poor repair. The first coach with Alex had a hole in the floor and an inoperative leaking AC unit. At stop 1, we boarded a bus with David. He was a great guide and did well. The problem there, the bus was again filthy with disgusting seats and trash around, also many headphone jacks didn’t work. If your headphones don’t work, there is no tour. Might as well hire an Uber and just drive as it would be cheaper. Eventually we were able to snag new seats as people left, then we could hear the rest of David’s tour. We continued from red to blue. Overall the day was a disappointment, and all due to staff and bad equipment. Hopefully management will take not only mine, but many of the reviews here and make changes. There are several other open top bus operators in Miami, so I would suggest to look elsewhere until these guys can clean things up.

We always book a city tour with Big Bus when we're in a new place so this would be no exception. For the most part it's interesting to hear the history as you can always learn something you didn't know about a place. On the blue route where we started it was difficult to hear our guide especially because of the wind noise in his microphone. When we transferred to the red route we met Alex who was very informative, funny and interesting. Kudos for his efforts to make the trip something to remember.
