WOW Thank you so much Ivory for making this tour GREAT. Ivory is a natural at what he does & he seems to LOVE what he does; it shows. Ivory was very friendly, humorous, knowledgeable but most of all I loved how RESPECTFUL he was to everyone. He showed a lot of respect to the people who lived in the poor communities by waving to them, acknowledging them & wishing them well. Those actions lifted the potential discomforts for those who lived in these poor communities who would be viewed & judged by the passing tourists. He helped us-the tourist- to feel comfortable being in the poorer parts of Miami. What a positive experience that was. I personally walked away from this tour with a higher level of respect, all because of IVORY, the tour guide. A tourist from Canada, would repeat this tour again with Ivory again in a heart beat or any other tours that he may do.

This was the best way to get around and see the city. We road on top, open-air bus and were able to tour all of Miami. The tour guide, Armando, was wonderfully knowledgeable and funny. We ended up seeing his night tour, beach loop and city loop and were delighted every time! We bought the 2 day package with boat tour. Well worth the price.

We chose the 2 day tour with trip around the bay by boat, and it was perfect. We saved $76 each. (Deluxe pack) We got a hotel pickup which was ideal but as we were late getting up first day and we climbed aboard to get the only 2 seats left downstairs. It was rubbish as we were sat by a netted window so limited visibility. However once everyone got off at varying stops we moved upstairs and enjoyed good views. Our tour guide was amazing...don’t know his name but he did a Tarzan impersonation and made jokes of ‘ heads down and mind the trees’. He was fun and clearly enjoys his job. There were several cruise ships in so mega busy in the city anyway. Next day we did the second half of the bus climbing aboard at 9.15 which was better and got upstairs right away. We enjoyed the trip and then onto the boat around the bay. Although overcast it was still enjoyable. We then ate lunch along the harbour side watching all the tourists and life in general. So top marks to Big Bus. There’s nothing like keeping folk happy. I’m a guide myself but for the National Trust in the UK. You just have to try to please everyone as far as possible. Good luck team😀
