Bought the two-day ticket. It was just OK. The guides were nothing special and on several rides, it took a while before they got the sound system working. On a rainy day the one bus we took the downstairs roof leaked badly.

This is the best way to see NYC! It's worth it to get the 2-day premium pass. You can loop the routes and then go back and stop at the places that interest you.

We took the one day tour. It was good to get to see both upper and lower Manhattan on the same day, from there, we planned the rest of the week. It was a little confusing at first, I purchased the tickets on my phone and when we got the the stop they told us we needed the printed receipt and had to walk few blocks to get it, then there were two lines and people were confused on where they where actually going (upper or lower Manhattan). Signalization can indeed be improved. Also, your experience will highly depend on the guide. For the upper Manhattan route, the guide was a lady that was not very friendly, although she did provide good information about the city. For the lower Manhattan route, the guide was a senior gentleman who just made our day with his sense of humor and how he engaged with everyone on board. We always take the hop-on hop-off tour whenever available. This one was good enough for me to recommend it. ENJOY NYC!!!
