Day on of the Big Bus tour and it’s going smoothly. Well organized and gives us an overview of what we want to do later. Nice safe option to get around

So crowded had to sit downstairs which was a sauna! Do not sit in back of bus downstairs, min view. Crowded, long lines. We only road 1 stop because the lines to get on were so long, people were waiting 3-4 buses. I was so disappointed. Waste of money simply because they over sold tickets. So when people finally got on upstairs they didn't get off.

Traffic can sometimes impact our bus schedules, which might cause delays. Also, during busy seasons, buses can fill up quickly, and we can't always promise a seat. This is much better and cheaper than Uber. On our first day of the trip we made the mistake of taking an Uber to the 9/11 Memorial. It cost 90.00 round trip vs. the 72.00 we paid for a two day pass on Big Bus. We took the red route one day and the blue the other and it was perfect. Some of the lines to get on the bus were longer than other but it was pretty efficient for the most part. There are no live guides and the audio recording is just fair. We sat up top which was great to see the sights. I would definitely do this again.
