While reviewing tour options for New York City, we first determined the attractions that we wanted to see during our visit. With that determined, we investigated various options for admission prices and travel arrangements. We had used Big Bus in Washington, DC and had a great experience. Based on the attractions that we wanted to visit and the travel options to get to places in Manhattan, Big Bus provided us with the most flexibility and the easiest travel around the city.
We purchased a 2-day pass with three added attractions. Our attractions were the 911 Memorial, The One World Observatory and Ellis Island. The two days gave us ample time to enjoy the attractions.
The other thing about the Big Bus is the travel guides. One guide in particular, Duane, provided us with many historical facts about the city and also provided us comic intervention during our tour. Both Duane and the other guides were very knowledgeable about the city and appeared to really enjoy their chosen profession.
