Amazing value for money - we booked this trip not knowing anything about San Francisco, and after this 2 day ticket, we got to experience/learn so much. Alcatraz is a must see! A special shout out to the BEST tour guide, Doug, who showed us around Chinatown and really made our day. He was such a polite, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide - you’re lucky if he shows you around!

So very interesting to hear the history of Alcatraz and so much information about some of the inmates and also the guards. It was fun to watch the cell doors being opened and closed too. Well worth the trip and the cost!

I bought this as we only had 2 full days in SF and the public transport looked complicated! We really enjoyed sitting at the top of the bus going over the Golden Gate Bridge and round the city. Good bits: The commentary was good & we just needed to plug in earphones that they handed out. Staff were friendly. Took the Chinatown walking tour (only at 1300 hours) with Doug who was fantastic. I’ve never taken a walking tour and didn’t know what to expect. He was very engaging and friendly and cracks the odd joke. Not sure everyone picked up on them but I found them very funny!! Thanks Doug 😊 sorry we didn’t say goodbye but we were dragged into the Boba shop by the kids after the cookies! Could be better bits: The app showed the first bus from union square/union at 1030 but we just happened to walk up earlier and were told that the first was at 945. Would have been better to know that first. We’d have used it much more had there been buses in the opposite direction too!
