I initially was planning to book the Statue of Liberty cruise through NY Water Taxi, but it appears Circle Line acquired them and our cruise was via Circle Line. We did the Statue of Liberty Express, which is a 1 hour guided tour that gives views of lower Manhattan, the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, Ellis Island, and of course, the Statue of Liberty. The guide was great and shared some personal facts about his own family immigrating to NYC. The views of the statue were good. I thought the boat might stop to allow for better photos but it kept in motion, though it did circle around, allowing both sides of the boat to get views. We pre-purchased our tickets for the 2:30 tour, and arrived to check-in at 2:00 and got in line right away. This allowed us to be near the front of the line which gave us first pick of seats. We sat on the top, outside, with no cover. I did get sunburned so if you're sensitive to the sun, sit under the cover or wear sunscreen! The trip went well and was fun. I'd recommend it to someone wanting to see the Statue.
