The eight flags tour takes you on a historical journey through all of the locations that those flags have flown over the islands incredible history. The only location in America to have had this number of independent flags. You will travel through the historic downtown district and out to the original Fernandina. On our journey we will cover each of the flags, the period from which they flew and the historical significance behind all of those dates from a historical perspective.

My husband and I booked this tour for our first full day on Amelia Island. We wanted to know a little more about where we were staying for the week. Our guide, Daniel, was clearly well informed and had great interest in the history of this area. His stories were interesting and enjoyable. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to know about the history of this area.

This was our first time to Amelia Island so needed to get a good layout of the area and our driver and guide, Dan did a marvelous job of lots of history and plenty of stops and time for questions and answers. There were 4 couples so we filled the van. After a fantastic tour, we asked for recommendations for dining and his suggestion was wonderful with a view of the sunset. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Last minute call for this “historic tours” due to other tour company was canceled for less than 4 people & they call me back right away for assuring me “no minimum head count”. Daniel was my tour guide & I received PRIVATE tour (I was the only one) for almost 2hrs. Top of that his knowledge & take a time for my questions,I see his care. Also nice comfortable air conditioned van on muggy 80 F weather. I recommend 100% for everyone ! Thanks Daniel for your kindness, I had a wonderful time !!!
