The tour itself was "meh." Several people complained that they were having trouble hearing. Ours started late, and there seemed to be a great deal of confusion -- the tour started, but then circled back to try pick up more people even though there wasn't any more room. I will say that the driver was very friendly and likable, and I think he did the best he could.
The piece that really pissed me off was the man selling the tickets. I'm sure he was a nice person, but once he learned that my family member was from the south, he opened his button down to reveal his Trump t-shirt. My mom politely said not everyone in the south is a Trump supporter, I told him that we wanted to keep things lighthearted and easy-breezy.
This guy, "Melrose Larry" (or whatever the fudge his name is) just couldn't drop it. He kept talking to us and taking it to a political place. It was extremely off-putting. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, but, damn dude! We weren't there to talk about how to solve California's complex issues surrounding homelessness or Nancy Pelosi or whatever other inane crap he brought up.
