Why lay down when you can stand up? Learn to stand up paddle, or SUP, in Kailua. This ancient water sport has made a major comeback with the help of new board technology, increasing the performance and ease of riding. Stand up paddling combines the thrill of surfing with the techniques of paddling, a match made in heaven. Kailua offers a variety of conditions, from flat water cruising to moderate chop and rolling waves. Lessons generally stick to the calmest areas to practice basic strokes and techniques.

It was fun to make my SAP debut in such a beautiful ocean! The tour was explained and supported in Japanese, so I was able to participate with peace of mind. Thank you Natsue and Emi! I'll definitely come again next time I come to Hawaii!

It was my first time doing SUP, but the instructor, Tomo, was very friendly and gave me great instruction. He also showed me around the deserted island and took lots of photos, so it was a very fulfilling lesson! I don't usually get to go into the ocean, so it was a great experience to experience something out of the ordinary! It's the best memory of my trip to Hawaii! Thank you very much

It was my first time doing SUP so I was a little nervous, but Tomo, who was in charge, taught me carefully and took photos for me, and it became a very fond memory! I was also lucky enough to be able to participate with just my sister who went with me, so I was able to experience riding the waves on a SUP! I'm grateful to Tomo for giving me this valuable experience ^_^
