Like Aialik, Holgate Glacier is surrounded by steep cliffs, dense forests and towering mountain peaks. Visitors may see spectacular calving events as ice chunks break and crash into the ocean. Though rare, black bears have been sighted on the beaches in Holgate arm.

A really great experience. The highlight of our trip to Alaska. We were able to see the glacier up close, a bear, a sea otter, puffins, sea lions, seals and a lot of other wildlife. Not to mention the phenomenal views of the fjords and the park itself.

Amazing! We saw orcas, sealions, humpback whales, and seals. The glaciers were amazing! Would recommend!

The cruise thru the national park was wonderful. The captain pointed out all of the land features and made sure we saw the whales. Our view of the glacier was fantastic. Everyone needs to experience this cruise
