The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable.

Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

For parties of 8 or more, you will have to contact us directly to book. We have questions.

We had a wonderful time at the roux class. Chef Erika was perfect. Professional,friendly, organized, a perfect instructor. The kitchens are beautifully set up for the classes. and the food we cooked? so yummy. you will love ut.

We had an amazing experience. Mark was our chef and he was absolutely incredible. He was very knowledgeable and gave us several cooking tips for each meal. It was my birthday and he helped to make the day even more special!

Our team had an incredible time taking the "Roux Class" during our offsite—it was the perfect blend of fun, learning, and collaboration. Even the most experienced cooks on our team picked up new tips and techniques, which added to the excitement. The hands-on experience brought everyone together and made for plenty of laughs and memorable moments. It was undoubtedly the highlight of our team-building activities, and our entire week in New Orleans. Chef Erika, Tracy, and Marcella were a joy to work with.
