This is a small group rafting and scenic driving tour through the famous Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve with a scenic float trip (no whitewater) through the home of the largest bald eagle congregation in the world. Thousands of bald eagles travel here to feed on salmon in the fall and winter. In spring and summer watch for eagles nesting and raising their young.

An amazing experience provided by Joanie, Joe, Kyle and Rich. Their knowledge and passion for the place really made it so special - rafting the eagle preserve was a great way to experience the river and we saw many eagles both juvenile and adult, perched in the trees, on the riverbanks and in flight.

Thanks for this great review. We have a great team and we really enjoy sharing the river with our guests. It was great to see the young eagles who had recently left the nest feeding along the river.

Great river float !! Exceptional guides with lots of knowledge !! Beautiful scenery...lunch was also included !

Terrific float trip adventure! Rainbow Glacier Adventures is the best! Full seven mile float down the Chilkat River. The Chilkat spills across a broad glacial valley with strong fast moving current. RGA skillfully navigates the current through quickwater riffles, eddies, and standing waves. Guides are knowledgeable and share their craft with their passengers, along with the cultural and geologic history of the area. Do yourself a favor, join them on this terrific journey.
