Terrible experience. The observation decks were so crowded that you could not take photos or see the views. Literally three or four people deep, with many people camping out next to the glass and never moving. The upper deck was so crowded that you could not walk across it. What’s the point of timed entry, if you are not going to manage the crowds better? One World Observatory is a much better option. Better views, better facility, more room. Just all around better.

Great view. We arrived, saw the line. And booked on the spot online—cost a total of $5 more but we saved 20 minute wait. Quick, easy. I find it’s become over priced. $40 USD for an adult is a lot

Fantastic experience that exceeded expectations. Although the price may seem quite high at first, the views from the top of the building are spectacular and definitely make up for it. With views of Central Park to one side, and extensive views of the rest of the city to the other, this is not an experience to miss. It is probably the best viewing platform in New York, as it is not too high compared to the other platforms available (many of which are overpriced). There are 3 floors (I believe) to explore, which all give you a slightly different perspective of the city. Even the elevator ride to the top is an experience in itself. This was a great final payoff to all our walking around the city. We went in the morning, but I can imagine that at sunset the views would be even better.
