Easy online ticket purchase. No waiting line. Great views!! Be sure to get the map pointing out some of the highlights. No one offered it to us as we entered so we shared a kind stranger’s map. It was really helpful.

Booked a VIP Tour. Expensive, and we were very disappointed with what we got to see, so wasn’t good value for money in our opinion. The iconic Rainbow Room was under renovation so although we got to go in it, we did not get to see it in all its glory. We were not warned about the renovation work prior to going, so were not given the opportunity to get a refund. The observation deck was busy, but well worth the crowds as the view is spectacular. Pack your patience!

My daughter and I visited 11th July. We had New York passes so we’re directed to a different desk to exchange them. The customer service was pretty bad. A young girl was trying to serve us but was distracted by her male colleague next to her just talking to her the whole time. He was telling her she had a small nose repeatedly and kept interrupting her while she was talking to us. Took a long time to get our tickets, it was just weird and very rude. The experience itself was disappointing as there were too many people at the Top of the Rock, you couldn’t move. We were there around sunset and people were just hogging the areas at the edge and not moving on and letting others see. Really not the experience we’d hoped for.
