Amazing sunset~! Highly recommended. Go go go!! Wanna go again. Definitely go for the sunset time slot. It was magical!

Must see when in NYC! Great views of the Empire State Building & Central Park. You can reserve a timed-pass. The CNN most popular is the sunset,

We came here for our final night in NYC. We had already done the Empire State through the day and the Harbour Lights Cruise on an evening but the view at Rockerfeller was still good, from what you could see in between the crowd, as the time slot was arguably oversold. The staff on the other hand really did ruin this experience for us. I understand the need for efficiency to keep lines moving, ensuring smoother visits for everyone, but the whole experience had us feeling like cattle in a slaughterhouse. The staff have no problem screaming at and belittling customers for leaving a couple of inches of space in the lift queues, treating them like naughty school children and not people paying a lot of money to see the views. Continuously bellowing ‘How many?!’ every 50 steps or so (did they think we were picking up other people up and adding them to our group in an already formed tight queue?), and when we tried to explain that we didn’t want our photo taken one woman kept screaming over us and wouldn’t let us speak. Finally the attitude of the member of staff working in the gift shop was lousy. The shop was empty and she noticed me standing at the till whilst she was restocking already full shelves. She slowly continued to go around the shop unnecessarily adding an extra magnet or so here and there until I finally gave up said to my mother that we should probably just leave, which is when she loudly sighed and came over to serve me. After paying I smiled and thanked her and she looked at me in disgust. This was around 8:30/9pm on the 26th of December. This really needs to be addressed because such a lovely experienced can easily be ruined by poor staff.
