My husband and I did this tour on a Sunday night. We arrived at 7:00 and departed at 7:30. There were 2 buses (one large & one small). We got on the small bus which I was happy about. Our driver, Chris, was awesome. Even better was Sally, our tour guide. She was extremely informative and knowledgeable about D.C. and history in general, but she was also witty and had a great personality!! She pointed out various sites along the way and talked to us about each stop. We got off the bus at the Capitol, White House, MLK Memorial, WWII Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial which was also near the Korean War and Vietnam War Memorials. We were given a time limit at each stop. Everything was very efficient and they also provided us with water, as needed. (There were bathrooms at 3 of the stops.) I thought the tour was only 2 hours, but it was actually closer to 2 1/2 - 3 hours. We left early before 10:00 and took a taxi back to our hotel. Overall it was a great, informative experience!! The monuments and memorials were beautiful at night. I even got a picture of the Washington Monument as the sun was setting. Don't forget to bring cash for a tip. They recommend 20 percent of the ticket price.
