Not a good experience. To start out their office where you meet is filthy. You sit on stools that have rips, the floors and walls are filthy. You get a quick 2 minute training session in an alley and off you go. This is where the next warning appeared. Our Guide, Mike, DID NOT drive a segway. He rode a single wheel device that is like a motorized unicycle without a seat or handlebars. Mike then proceeded to take us to several sites, explain some highlights, and then told us about his personal experiences in Batman movies at those sites. Through the tour he continued to provide his personal negative opinions about Chicago. He is by no means an expert on Chicago. The worst thing that happened occurred as we approached our last site, Buckingham Fountain. Before we got there we had to go through a very narrow uphill 90 degree turn with walls on both sides. Instead of waiting there to warn us or help us through it he took off and was no where in sight. As I went through the turn I bumped into a wall and fell down. After a couple of minutes he came over and told me that because of my poor segway handling I would not be allowed back on one of his tours again. Mike told us that he is the only guide for this company. All that I can say is if you are not an experienced segway rider BEWARE. Captain Segway, as he calls himself, even though he doesn't use a segway during the tour, shows little or n o concern for his customers.
