This photo class, and tour, is a unique experience in and around Santa Fe. Professional photographer David has been a Santa Fe resident for more than 30 years. Bring your digital camera, smartphone, or both. This photo class/tour is a great place to start here in Santa Fe. You will learn composition, portraiture, landscape photography, lowlight, camera functions, and lots more. This 2- hour photo-class/tour will be a fun and insightful photographic learning experience for you while getting to know Santa Fe. Photo editing with Snapseed will be part of the instructions.
David knows all the best places to photograph in and around Santa Fe as well as being able to help travelers with questions regarding local restaurants, cultural activities, hiking, etc.

Keep in mind that this is a photography class, do a sightseeing on your own. David covers fundamentals and composition. I brought an expensive digital camera and ended up using my phone as a 'sketch pad' and only used the camera a few times with great results. Well worth the time. Great learning experience in beautiful Santa Fe!

David is an incredible teacher. He helps you become an artist. Now I see shapes and shadows in a whole new way. I loved that we were able to use our smart phones to take some amazing photos. Added a very rich layer to the beauty of Santa Fe.

The class with David was excellent (and fun). Initially, I wondered how much I could learn in a 2 hour class - but I learned a LOT and feel confident enough to experiment more with my photographs. His instruction was organized and presented clearly. Thanks David!
