This photo class, and tour, is a unique experience in and around Santa Fe. Professional photographer David has been a Santa Fe resident for more than 30 years. Bring your digital camera, smartphone, or both. This photo class/tour is a great place to start here in Santa Fe. You will learn composition, portraiture, landscape photography, lowlight, camera functions, and lots more. This 2- hour photo-class/tour will be a fun and insightful photographic learning experience for you while getting to know Santa Fe. Photo editing with Snapseed will be part of the instructions.
David knows all the best places to photograph in and around Santa Fe as well as being able to help travelers with questions regarding local restaurants, cultural activities, hiking, etc.

David is an wonderful instructor and his tips and teachings on working with forms in photography was super instructive. I loved the time and attention he pays to each of the students on the tour. There wasn't much in terms of Santa De history which turned out to be fine. I got lost in the picture focused experience.

My girlfriend signed us up for this walking Photography Class on our Santa Fe trip and I am so glad she did! David was so knowledgeable and is a wonderful instructor. We casually walked around downtown Santa Fe, and learned how to frame different types of structures and subjects to capture the perfect image. We could instantly notice how much better our photographs looked, going from pure amateur to many that I want to frame and display at home! We also received some training on digital photo editing software to take the worse photos and transform them into something you can be proud of. In addition to learning how to capture the perfect image, we also ended up with a great collection of photos of old Santa Fe that we can take a lot of pride in as we share our trip memories with friends and family. I highly recommend this class, it was enjoyable and educational. We would certainly do it again!

My adult daughter took this class on our first morning in Santa Fe. Here is what she says, ""Such a fun tour and so glad I did it first thing so I could use what we learned throughout our trip ! David knows all the ins and outs ! " I can attest that there was quite a difference in her photos before and after - including taking a picture of my husband and me that quickly became one of our favorite photos of us!
