All of our guides have individual and unique ties to the Amish community and have always enjoyed showing off the “true” Lancaster County. This rich, immersive experience is personally designed to give you a rare window into the authentic Amish culture. Every meal is an amazing experience!

* Vegetarian meals are available.
* Please note this tour is not confirmed until we secure an Amish Family host.
* The PA Department of Agriculture requires us to inform you in advance that these meals are prepared in private homes, which are not licensed or inspected.

Unforgettable experience! The guide was excellent and gave us real history and stories of Lancaster and the Amish and we learned so much. The meal at the Amish family was great as well as the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We were disappointed that the meal was served in a room over garage that was unorganized with no authentic Amish atmosphere. Our understanding was that it would be in Amish home. The entire meal was so good. The tour guide was well informed.

Our hosts do occasionally have the meals in their church rooms, which can be interesting in itself, but we understand that when your expectations don't line up it can detract from your experience.
