Enjoyed the self guided tour, feel the cost is a little high at $15 per person consider most people likely spend in the store or restaurant. You can spend as much time reading and listening to the videos as you like. Amazing all Tabasco is made only here and shipped from this location. The tasting bar at the back of the store was a highlight, they offer samples of the hot sauces, ice cream and chili. The ladies handing out the samples were friendly and helpful. Sampling let us make sure we were buying flavours that appeased our palate. The drive through Avery Island was beautiful and we were able to see some egrets and alligators. The Buddha stop was the highlight. We did this on a day trip from the French Quarter, it was a long day and recommend spending a night in the area if you can afford the time.

We toured the Tabasco Factory and Jungle Gardens on a Sunday.. Our GPS took us on an adventurous route but upon arrival we were greeted at the gate and directed to plentiful parking. Every step offered another discovery. The next visit will be on a weekday, so the factory is active and in the spring when the gardens will be phenomenall.

Very unique and fun tour of the history and complete process of making Tabasco. Easy to follow self tour that is unrushed. At the end of the tour there is a taste test that is a can not miss. Highly recommend this if you are a hot sauce fan.
