Husband and I did this tour on the North shore today. We enjoyed the variety of foods and the information about foods of Hawaii. Marta and Dan are wonderful leaders and it was set up very professionally.the coconut eclairs were a great finish to the tour. We will definitely do the other tours on our next trip to Kauai.

We went on this tour twice during our visit to Kauai and it was the highlight both times. We have visited Kauai for many years, but still learned so much on these tours and discovered intersSting eating opportunities we did not know about. Ir is not the typical tourist tour and that is great -- places that are not widely advertised. Marta and Dan are great hosts and so knowledgeable. We are on the Big Island now and we just wish we could find something like them here, but alas it does not seem so.

This tour was not what I was hoping for. I chose a tour, North Shore Tour, where we specifically did not eat sushi (not my fav) and not only did we make an entire stop for sushi, at the last minute, but we also didn't get the grass fed beef stop that I was looking forward to. I suppose the menu and stops change. The hosts are definitely comfortable with all guests but I wanted to hear less about their Colorado rafting adventures and more about Kauai. This tour has lots of 5 star reviews and it's quite possible that I'm not a good fit, or maybe we just hit an off day.
