The North Shore tour provided a range of foods and was very well done. We were certainly "full" at the tour's end, and mahalo nui to Marta and Dan for making it so enjoyable.

At each venue we visited, not only was the food tasting exceptional but the host at each spot was extremely knowledgeable. They all had great stories how they developed the foods they prepared and offered. Our hosts Marta and Dan were true professionals and made this a great experience.

We really enjoyed our tour. There was lots to eat (do not eat lunch before do not!) and wonderful people to meet. Vendors told us about their life stories, how they got to the island and started their businesses. We will go back to many of these places because the food was exceptional. Overall a reflection of the interest in local foods and farming on the garden isle. Most farms are in the east so if you want to see more of farms go on the east or maybe north tour. The south shore is shops and vendors and a farmers market on the sunny side of the island. With respect to the "popular with tourists" question, it's a small and enthusiastic group and would not work with a big crowd.
