Tasting Kauai is a marvelous tour and tasting of some of Kauai's food destinations. You get to meet the chef/owners and sample local fare. From food trucks to established restaurants - all of Kauai is on display. Michelle was marvelous and made the afternoon a fun experience. Without a doubt, this was the best tour I've taken in a while. Come hungry - there are dishes to sample at every stop. It's more than just dining recommendations - you can also find the best places to buy ingredients for your own culinary adventures. The groups are small and you caravan in your own vehicles, so you can mingle or not depending on your preferences. Highly recommended!

We love Kauai and have been there many times, including getting married in June 2015. We wanted to do something different this time so we decided to try Tasting kauai since we love the Kauai food and consider ourselves foodies. We were not disappointed. We did the tour of the north shore since we were staying up there anyway and wanted to see and taste the St. Regis foods. We loved the the history and the insight we got from Michelle who led out tour. She was wonderful and so knowledgable of Kauai foods and Kauai in general. The first stop was of all things the general store at the Union 76 gas station in Princeville. We had gone there before to get our Kauai beef which we love to grill and their excellent plate lunches. We sampled their burgers and pizza which were excellent. You can't beat the Kauai beef for a burger and the pizza was excellent as well. The next stop was the Tiki Iniki bar which is owner by Todd Rudgren and his wife Michele. The Mai Tai drinks were exceptional and the ribs excellent. The tike collection was worth seeing in itself. The next stop was the St Regis for tea and desserts. Not sure which is better, the view of Hanalei Bay and the Bali Hai mountains or the food which was wonderful. The next few places was excellent as well, but we were getting so full by that time we needed a doggy bag to bring it back to our hotel. I highly recommend Tasting kauai and look forward to trying one of their other tours on Kauai soon.

We went on the Kapaa area tour. Michele our guide made the tour worthwhile! Dont be a smart a@s and try and add up the cost of the dishes. The xperience with my family and four others was spectacular. Only negative was at the Kealia farm we we started, we toured the Taro field but didnt get poi to taste. Some say a blessing! Dont miss!
