Went to Christmas town on the 26th as family with grown kids. Rides were closing by 430 pm as the temperature approached 40 degrees. by 530 all rides were closed except for Dark Coaster where the wait times were 60-90 minutes. Took 30 minutes plus just to get a Hot Chocolate. Finally gave up and went in to Fest Haus for a show at 9 PM, and that got cancelled too. Paid a lot of money to wait in long lines. If you are a family with young kids you can walk around and look at lights, that is about it. Definitely would not recommend.

My husband and I visited the park on Tuesday, 12/17/24. Upon going through the toll booth for parking I asked the clerk if premium parking was filling up of which her reply was “yes.” I recently had surgery on my foot and had reserved an electric scooter to use at the park. I figured that if the premium park was filling up I would have to walk a distance to get to the entrance so we opted to park in the regular lot and take the tram. We were directed to the very back of the Germany parking lot, area 26. I had quite a distant to walk to the tram but figured I had made that decision so ok….However, when we made our way to the tram there was a sign that the tram services in Germany parking lot were CLOSED and we had to walk the entire distance to the park entrance. Had I known the tram was not servicing all of the parking lots I would have gladly paid for premium parking but no one told us that. So I went to customer service, spoke with Amy who more or less said Sorry for your bad luck. Didn’t take my information….nothing. My husband and I are both senior citizens and he is a disabled vet. This is the first time in years that we have purchased season passes and it will probably be our last. The customer service is well below average…I would rate it subpar at best. Visiting Christmas Town we look forward to the shows. This year they were very limited in times (the ones that were showing only had one or two times to choose from) but there were some not even showing (Scrooge). A lot of food and drink concessions were closed and trying to find a cup of hot cocoa for the grandkids at 9:15 was not an easy task to do. My husband went to get in line at a concession by the clock only to be told they were closing and not accepting any more customers. Again, this has to be the worst experience we have ever experienced at Busch Gardens. The only good part of it was spending time with our kids and grandkids.

We bought season passes thinking we would go several times but only ended up going three times, a two day trip in July and once in November for Christmas town, we won't go back. I'll start by saying that the rides are good, the Christmas shows were great, and the park looks very nice. However, while many staff are friendly, many are not and some are just rude. Another thing is the food, we bought the meal pass thinking that it would be the best value, but it's just hard for a person to consume that much food. We saw so much food being thrown in the trash, the amount of waste was disgusting. They should do away with the meal pass and just charge decent prices for food. Maybe $7 for a burger instead of $20, or $4 for a drink instead of $10, it's a complete ripoff. Lastly, while we parked for free because of our season passes others had to pay around $35. When you're already paying a small fortune to be in the park and for food, parking should be a lot less or even free.
