The original food tour of Little Italy and Chinatown since 2009 explores the tastes and history of two diverse NYC neighborhoods. This woman owned and operated business ensures that animated and friendly guides allow their guests to learn these neighborhoods through fascinating historical stories and culinary delights. There are 2-3 seated tastings and 5-6 on-the-go tastings to ensure that you explore both neighborhoods in 3 hours. We can accommodate guests who are vegetarian and gluten free. Water, tea and a choice of wine or beer is included.

The delicious food tastings range from delicious dumplings to a sit-down authentic Italian meal. For guests 21 and up there will be an option to have a glass of wine at the seated tasting.

One leaves this tour fully satisfied, along with a new found confidence in navigating the neighborhoods with a provided recommendation list in hand. This tour is a must if you're a local or visitor looking to get off-the-beaten path and taste amazing foods.

I did three tours while visiting NYC and they were all good but this one was the best of the three. Not only was the food great but what stood out the most was the person taken us on the tour. Valerie has this energy and enthusiasm as well as, wealth of knowledge of little China and little Italy that keeps you engaged. This tour was well worth the money.

The Chinatown/Little Italy tour was amazing! There was so much food, we skipped dinner! The food was delicious, there is no way to pick a favorite, as they all were! Patrick (our guide) has found his calling. He did an excellent job of not only giving us info on the food we are but also on the history of the area. It was a delightful afternoon! We can't wait to come back to NY to do another food tour with Ahoy New York Food Tours and Patrick! Although there were several members of our group who live in NYC! They are the lucky ones!

Liz and Liz were very personable and knowledgeable of the area and history behind the places we visited. Really enjoyed the sampling of dishes we tried at all the places. Would do another good tour with them!
