MAGNIFICO!!!.....From the canoli and background history at Ferrara's Bakery to the bloody murder of a mob boss, our field trip to Little Italy did not disappoint! Our guides were knowledgeable and engaging, and left many of us planning a return trip for other tours. I would highly recommend the Chinatown and Little Italy Food Fest tour, but of course that's because I have not experienced the other tours YET. I will definitely be back whether with friends, a class or by myself. I have not doubt whatever I choose it will be great! Thanks, Alana!

We very much enjoyed our tour guide, who gave us a lot of fun facts about the places we visited and the area in general. We found a great shop for fresh mozzarella and prosciutto, a great shop for cheeses and a great little hole in the wall for delicious chinese dumplings! We began the tour at Ferrara's, which is famous for their cannolis. We returned to Ferrara's the next day for cheesecake! I only had two problems with this tour - 1. The tasting portions were extremely small (4 tiny gnocchi, 1 potsticker, etc) so we were hungry after the tour, and 2. we had to eat while standing at 3 of the 6 places we went to. The day was hot, and we were standing in crowded conditions, so this really detracted from the enjoyment of what we were sampling. Overall, we would do another tour with this company - the guide was great!

Hello and thanks for your review-- so happy that you had fun and enjoyed the history. Happy to hear that you returned back to Ferrara's the next day. Also happy that you enjoyed your tour guide! Sorry that you were not completely full-- most of our tour goers find that the 7 tastings (one of which is a heartier seated tasting) make enough for a lunch. We will continue monitor our tastings to make sure that all tour goers leave our tour full. Just a head's up, it is standard for the NYC food tour industry to have some seated and some "on the go" tastings in order to keep the tour moving at a good pace. We hope to see you on another tour! Our Taste of Mulberry tour may be up your alley as it is VERY filling. Cheers!
