17 miles, split into two unique biking experiences. Maui Bombers offers the premier biking experience on Maui. Voted #1 bike tour company for 2019-2024. The tour begins at 8 am. and lasts 4.5 hours. We offer the smallest group size, best equipment, longest bike ride and are the only bike tour company that uses biking helmets. All the other companies use full face motorcycle helmets. Added bonus, our start time guarantees the least amount of traffic to deal with and no other bike companies to deal with on the road!

My husband and I planned to Cycle down from the top of Haleakala Volcano. We read reviews and weighed our options. When we were done, Maui Bombers seemed like a no brainer. The most appealing aspect was the SMALL group. Matt (the owner) does not take more than 6 people per trip. He also leads the whole trip, which makes it so very personal. Whenever I e-mailed him a question, he responded very promptly. Matt runs his business with passion and excitement. He is fun and is very enthusiastic about his new friends having the best time and staying safe. I was very nervous about the trip, but Matt was patient with me, in the end I still chickened out. Sorry Matt ☹ My husband followed Matt down the mountain side while I road with Tianna in the follow van. The scenery was breathtaking, and Matt stopped a few times to show of the views. We then stopped for lunch at the quaint little café “Makawao Garden Café” The owner was the sweetest, and the food was great! There were many reasons why we chose Maui Bombers over the big companies…And we are so glad we did. Maui Bombers has a Hands-on Owner, Thank You Matt for showing us an incredible journey, and keeping my husband safe. A Small group helps keep everyone safe while enjoying the ride. The bike helmets (others have full face helmets… REALLY? Why?) New bikes and CLEAN gear (not so much with the others) Matt sanitizes all his gear at the end of a run. From the moment they picked us up, Matt & Tianna treated us like old friend, and it was sad to say good-bye. We have been telling everyone about our trip, and we always start with Matt and Maui Bombers! Thank You from the bottom of our hearts P.S. Tell Isabella we said HI 😊

Thank you Roni for the incredible review!! I am so happy that we were able to give you an amazing experience without even biking. On the drive up, after the 3rd time you mentioned how high we were, I figured you were a bit nervous, lol. You were awesome and funny and at least you got to sit on the bike. And thank you for making sure Tiana didn't text while driving. I can't wait to try the best pizza in the Arizona!!

My family and I just spent today with Matt on the Cycle to the Sea tour. Matt took time to explain to us all carefully how to get the most fun out of the tour, go quick and ride safely. His van will follow you down to help stop cars from passing at unexpected moments and help keep everybody safe. My boys are 11 and 13 and Matt got on with them really well, knew how to make them laugh and make sure they followed his instructions. The tour itself down the mountain has got a lot of exciting turns, beautiful views and you can go really fast if you are ready for it. Matt takes some pictures along the way, tells you a lot about the area and we also had lunch thrown in at a really nice little cafe at the bottom. All in all we really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend you give him a call to check his availability.

What can I add. Matt and Tia were great. I haven’t ridden in 20 years and was a little nervous. Matt was all confidence that I could do it and he was right. He takes small groups which means you have him watching out for everyone in your group. Tia follows behind in the van so the traffic is held up and you get to use the whole lane. From snacks to lunch to photo opps it was the best time. Loved it. Thanks Matt and Tia.
