17 miles, split into two unique biking experiences. Maui Bombers offers the premier biking experience on Maui. Voted #1 bike tour company for 2019-2024. The tour begins at 8 am. and lasts 4.5 hours. We offer the smallest group size, best equipment, longest bike ride and are the only bike tour company that uses biking helmets. All the other companies use full face motorcycle helmets. Added bonus, our start time guarantees the least amount of traffic to deal with and no other bike companies to deal with on the road!

Matt and his staff are the best! I did the research before booking and Matt’s business stood out because of the high quality of the bikes (Trek bikes with gears) the small size of the group and the longer length of the ride. We bike at home and Matt was able to provide a fast ride without sacrificing safety. Matt also had a great playlist for the ride. Thanks Matt, you guys were great.

Thanks Nora!! ( Nota ) We absolutely had a blast with you and Ken...from the second we picked you up to the sad moment when we dropped you off. We felt like we were saying goodbye to a couple of goofy good friends! See you next time!!

This was not our first bike down the mountain, but was our first with Matt. After reading several reviews, I canceled the other company we booked with and booked with Matt...best decision I made. In the past we were herded down the mountain like cattle. Matt gave us the perfect mix of freedom and safety. He gave us thorough instructions, then sent us on our way. He drove ahead and waited for us every 10 miles or so to see if we needed anything and make sure all was good with us and the bikes (safety first). Oh yea, we used real biking helmets and not those ridiculous motocross helmets we had to use in the past. If you need a motocross helmet, this may not be the right activity for you. Matt's bikes are Trek mountain bikes with hydraulic disk brakes, not beach bikes. We rode at our own pace, stopped when we wanted to take a couple pictures (amazing views). Before the bike, we drove on our own to watch the sunrise. Matt worked with us on timing so we could see the sunrise and still make the morning ride. I could really write a book on our experience with Matt. We go on this ride a lot and will always use Matt from now on!!! If you book with another company, I will say ' I told you so'.

Thank you so much for the AMAZING review KC!!! It's much better to see cattle actually being herded {like we were able to see up close) than to be treated like cattle being herded!! And excellent choice going up to see the sunrise on your own. That's a whole different cattle herding activity, lol. It was our pleasure to work with the timing so you could really experience the best of Maui. See you and Johanna next time. We'll have that beer together for sure!

Everything about the day exceeded expectations. Matt and Tia were great hosts. The scenery and roads were great. The lunch was fabulous. I can't say enough about how well we were treated from the moment we were picked up for our trip up the mountain until we were dropped off at the beach. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat.
