We had 3 stops, at the Checkerboard overlook, at Jolley’s Gulch, and at Jolley’s cabin. The Jeep ride was fun, not super exciting though. Seeing the checkerboard from the outlook isn’t nearly as impressive as seeing it right up close as you do from the Zion park road. Jolley’s Gulch was impressive though and you would not see that from the park. The cabin was an old abandoned house but when we were told the story of the Jolley’s family, it made sense to stop and see it.
All in all, it was a fun tour.
