A kayak safari with our very comfortable and stable kayaks is an excellent way to see the Everglades up close with a guide leading the way. Our Biologist Trained Guides/ Florida Naturalists are the top in their field and truly have a genuine passion for conservation and showing our guests this amazing area. These mangrove tunnels are truly special and different then those in nearby Marco and Naples; holding more wildlife and biodiversity. Once you get back from the trip there are some great nearby places to get lunch and other activities that our guide will point out. A percentage of every tour goes towards the conservation of these amazing areas! Paddling with us is like paddling with friends who truly care.

We were looking for a laid back Everglades kayak experience that highlighted the ecosystem and resources. Jason & Alli at Shurr Adventures were great. Not only was the kayak tour relaxing & educational, they also hooked us up with great tips on where to eat, stay and hike in the area. In a time of big companies & cookie cutter outdoor experiences, we felt fortunate to connect with this small, local business led by biologists. Jason had a huge passion for the ecosystem. We’d recommend Shurr adventures! Thanks guys!

I booked this tour last minute, texting Alli and registering the evening before online. She specified a meeting point, where 3 cars gathered and followed her a few miles to the put-in site, where the kayaks were waiting for us. Alli led an excellent, informative tour upstream and down, making our time. She knows the birds, plants, and animals of the area and made sure we didn't miss a thing as we paddled. When a large alligator would't move out of our path in a narrow tunnel, she carefully positioned her kayak over him and guided us safely past. We'd definitely book with Shurr again.

Lovely easy going kayak trip. Mangroves, open spots. Much to enjoy. Saw some wildlife, mainly birds some small alligators. Photogenic place for sure. Do find it a tad expensive compared to others.
