A kayak safari with our very comfortable and stable kayaks is an excellent way to see the Everglades up close with a guide leading the way. Our Biologist Trained Guides/ Florida Naturalists are the top in their field and truly have a genuine passion for conservation and showing our guests this amazing area. These mangrove tunnels are truly special and different then those in nearby Marco and Naples; holding more wildlife and biodiversity. Once you get back from the trip there are some great nearby places to get lunch and other activities that our guide will point out. A percentage of every tour goes towards the conservation of these amazing areas! Paddling with us is like paddling with friends who truly care.

What an interesting and informative trip through the mangroves! Our guide Bernie was fun and punctual and professional, taking care of all the details to get us launched. One participant was a kayaking novice. At the start of the trip, she panicked several times, getting stuck and knocking into people and was constantly near tears. Bernie calmly gave her instructions and encouragement each time so she could learn to right the situation herself. By the mid-point of the trip his help had her paddling confidently, and we were all laughing and sharing stories. We saw all the hoped for animals and the epiphyte air plants among the mangroves created a magical forest. Ali did a wonderful job of answering all questions via text before the trip so all was taken care of before arrival. Overall, it was a fun and pleasant experience. And very professional.

Just Amazing! One of my “Bucket List” adventures! Guide met us promptly and the rest was experience of a life time! Guide very knowledgeable of wildlife vegetation mangroves! Highly recommend Shurr Adventures! Next will be Shurr Adventures in Yellowstone! We didn’t have kids, but would definitely take kids as to see the Everglades thru their eyes would be fabulous!

An amazing kayak tour of the everglades and mangrove tunnels! Evan, our guide, was the best! Kept us kayaking while telling us about the plant life of the ecosystem AND looking for every bird, turtle, alligator, etc you could see. We encountered a few surprises (I'm not going to tell you because I don't want to elevate your expectations should they not happen again!) but they were fantastic. And having a guide who knew what was happening made it the best. Just so you know; you will see alligators!
