A kayak safari with our very comfortable and stable kayaks is an excellent way to see the Everglades up close with a guide leading the way. Our Biologist Trained Guides/ Florida Naturalists are the top in their field and truly have a genuine passion for conservation and showing our guests this amazing area. These mangrove tunnels are truly special and different then those in nearby Marco and Naples; holding more wildlife and biodiversity. Once you get back from the trip there are some great nearby places to get lunch and other activities that our guide will point out. A percentage of every tour goes towards the conservation of these amazing areas! Paddling with us is like paddling with friends who truly care.

Our family (all beginners) had a great time exploring the mangrove tunnels. We went on the 1:30 tour, and our guide was Evan. He was punctual, polite, knowledgeable and we were made to feel comfortable from the very start! We met at the visitor center and followed his van to the launch site (covid procedure) and there we received all the gear we needed, including a rain poncho- which we ended up using. The pace was great and we saw many alligators and birds including one that Evan hadn't seen before, so that was cool! It was so quiet and beautiful- like paddling into a different world for a few hours. We would totally recommend this trip and Shurr Adventures to friends! Communication booking the trip was excellent too. Thanks!

My boyfriend and I had an incredible time on our mangrove tunnel tour with Shurr Adventures. Our guide Annie was so knowledgeable and sweet and made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole experience. She has a good eye (and ear) for wildlife and pointed out all kinds of creatures along the way. The mangroves were a unique kind of beautiful and navigating through them was unlike anything we had done before. No better way to explore the Everglades, I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
