Had a great time on the full river trip with guide Kat. There didn't seem to be much difference in reviews between rafting companies so chose this outfitter partially because of the 8:00am start time. We were done, clothes changed and leaving by 2:00pm, making it possible to get back to Memphis after finishing the trip. Be prepared to spend another $15-20/person for tip and about $55/boat ($10-$15/person) for photos. Photos are taken from the right river bank, so put the photogenic members of your crew on the right side of the boat and then have fun!

This full day rafting trip was thrills and laughter from start to finish. It was the first time my wife and I and our two teenage kids went rafting the Ocoee. My daughter and son said it was the best excursion they have ever done with the family (that’s #humongous from a couple of teenagers). They love the thrill. We #neverdoubted our guide Thomas. Simply the best. He is very informative,knowledgeable, skillful and a great sense of humor. If you request him he may surprise you! It’s not jut about rafting for him. The lunch was fantastic. Shrimp as well. Who would have thought? We had great Labor Day weekend weather. It seemed like our whole boat was a barrel of laughs. I think the price is very fair for the experience you get. Leaves more room for gratuity!

We had 3 adults and 4 teenagers in our group. The teens and adults were all smiles all day. Thomas took our group of 7 and gave us the BEST experience on the full day rafting trip. We couldn’t have gotten a better guide. The lunch was great. We look forward to rafting with Cherokee again!
