Galveston has seen a horrifying number of sudden deaths. An ungodly number of the islands dearly departed, well never departed. Their spirits are lurking in the shadows, alleys, staircases and stalk THE STRAND every day! The historic 19th century buildings on THE STRAND have become ghost sanctuaries. And the ghosts inside are just dying to meet you.

Join us on our 90 minute walking tour as we explore the fascinating paranormal happenings on the strand, the original street of horror. Hurricanes, war, fire, and epidemics! The pirate Jean Lafitte even turned the island into a den of thieves. Galveston has more ghosts than any other city in U.S.

Walking in the night, translucent figures will float by the windows. Shadows will suddenly appear and objects move of their own accord as we huddle closer to one another for are mutual protection. We never know what’s waiting for us around the corners. Beware and be scared! After all Galveston is nothing but “a cemetery with a beach attached.”

The tour was half-assed, we did not get to go see the railroad or the trimmer's house all we did was walk up and down the street, our tour guide Thomas was drunk and he kept on telling us he will make up ghost stories for tips, that's not something you want to hear after paying, and he kept on forgetting what he was saying he kept on asking us what did I say again and if we didn't know it he would get an attitude towards the crowd and just have a meltdown, I'm sorry it's just I expected this trip to be awesome like what the review say but it wasn't it at all

I have a meeting with Thomas this morning to we discussed the issues you have raised.I have to say it doesn't look good for Thomas . Tyler is a great guide. He took us through the Strand tour, but also does all of the other tours, and knows them well too. I'm a local who scheduled this for visiting friends. I have learned quite a bit of Galveston history since moving here but Tyler added to my knowledge. The 1900 storm is the source of many ghost stories, and he provided information I'd never heard before. I won't divulge what it is, so you have to take the tour to find out.
