This section of the Colorado River offers scenic views including meadows, valleys, rolling ranch lands, and steep canyon walls and wildlife including ducks, geese, bald eagles, deer, beavers, and big horn sheep -- always something fun to see.

The Colorado River is our favorite family-friendly rafting trip. Beginning as snowmelt high in Rocky Mountain National Park, the Colorado Rockies give birth to the legendary Colorado River. Downstream of the national park, the river character intensifies through the famed and Class 5 “Gore Canyon”, and then below the river gentles. This is where our Colorado River Rafting experiences begin, with an introduction to white water rafting for families, and groups looking to enjoy an iconic Colorado vacation.

We had such a great time with Tanner. We have rafted several times and he was the best guide we have ever had. Great emphasis on safety, fun and great jokes. We did the full day from Bond, CO. I would recommend as a half day would definitely not be enough. Even this could have been longer. We were finished very early afternoon and still had time to drive back to Vail for our next social engagement. So much fun.

We had a great day rafting with Tanner! He was happy to share his expertise and knowledge with us; super upbeat & infectious attitude for rafting and life. Tanner was great ensuring everyone had a ton of fun while being safe at the same time. No surprise, but Colorado views were amazing to boot :) Hope to come back next year for the rafting and jokes!
