This section of the Colorado River offers scenic views including meadows, valleys, rolling ranch lands, and steep canyon walls and wildlife including ducks, geese, bald eagles, deer, beavers, and big horn sheep -- always something fun to see.

The Colorado River is our favorite family-friendly rafting trip. Beginning as snowmelt high in Rocky Mountain National Park, the Colorado Rockies give birth to the legendary Colorado River. Downstream of the national park, the river character intensifies through the famed and Class 5 “Gore Canyon”, and then below the river gentles. This is where our Colorado River Rafting experiences begin, with an introduction to white water rafting for families, and groups looking to enjoy an iconic Colorado vacation.

Wonderful experience and can't wait to do it again!!!! The guide and other staff members were courteous and entertaining!! I would highly recommend this trip for beginners. The scenery is spectacular, and you have plenty of opportunities for photos. The booking was so easy. We all completed the on-line consent form, however 1 of 5 wasn't completed upon arrival, not a big problem, but you may want to check before the day of your trip.

This part of the Upper Colorado allows you the feeling of getting far from the crowds but it is easy to access. Glad you enjoyed it!

Trip was awesome and made even better by our guide, Corbin, and TL, Connor. The river scenery is so beautiful. We had kids ages 6-11 with us and they were nervous. After 5 minutes on the river, they loved it.

Loved the trip with Connor! Great guide made it fun and safe. Wish it could have lasted longer. The duckies were a great improvement over Kayaks so we bounced off the rocks! Weekday was much less crowded than weekend. We’ll use this tour company again.

The inflatable kayaks, "duckies," are a lot of fun, keeping you close to the water and able to paddle away from the group in the raft to see what interests you near shore. Glad you had fun!
