Our guide Mark was very knowledgeable. It was a beautiful hike. If you are fortunate enough to do this, please take the time to stop, be still, listen to the sounds of the island. It's magical.

It was a fantastic hike with beautiful scenery. Mark, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable about our surroundings. I highly recommend it. You must wear sneakers or hiking shoes. (no sandals or water shoes).

Absolutely loved the experience of discovering the craters of Hualalei, so close to the city. Would never have known about the various craters if we had not gone on the hike. Our guide Mateo was so knowledgeable and shared a lot of stories of Pele and the myths of the volcanoes. He was also extremely organized in handing out rain jackets, water bottles, back packs, hiking poles for anyone who needed them before the hike. After the hike, he gave us hot towels to wipe away the volcanic dust (what an absolute treat), ice cold sodas and healthy snacks...
