Kauai hiking, a 3/4-mile (1.2km) trek up the valley to an enchanting area of waterfalls and swimming holes. Mitch and Jamie provided a wonderful, low key experience for most of this tour. They made sure everyone was safe and allowed the group to pace the kayaking. I learned new things about the vegetation in the area and uses for various plants. The rope swing was pretty fun. Our trip back was entertaining to say the least-thanks to the naked kayaker who was trying to help another who took on too much water. Next time please arrange a younger, more attractive, extracurricular entertainer! The boat captain (I forgot his name) was comical whether he tried to be or not. All of them got us through it safely and helped a group of strangers bond. Sebastian rocks as a kayak/adventure partner! This was not a strenuous adventure so recommended for many people.

We booked this excursion through Norwegian Cruise Lines. It was a great way to get away from the touristy side of the Hawaiian islands and enjoy the beauty of nature. Jamie and Mitch did a great job of bringing a bunch of strangers together for a fun and informational adventure. Both the kayaking and hike were perfect for us old, out-of-shape tourists. On the way back we encountered an unfortunate non-life threatening situation with a non-guided group of tourists and a not so helpful naked local. Our guides did their best to assist while making sure we were not late for our ship. It gave me much comfort knowing both our guides and our equipment were in top shape. Don't leave Kauai without trying this excursion!

What an amazing day on the Wailua River as well as seeing the Wailua Falls!!! One of the most important reasons why it was fabulous was our tour guides, Kegan!!! He was so open, allowed us to ask questions at any point and also just talked about Kauai in general and it’s history and the nature sounding us! Highly recommend the company and if you can, ask for Kegan to be your tour guide!!
