For a fun kayaking Kauai activity, paddle tandem kayaks along the Hule'ia River and travel deep into the heart of the Kauai island jungle. Kauai hiking, a 3/4-mile (1.2km) trek up the valley to an enchanting area of waterfalls and swimming holes. On the way back, be picked up in a twin-hulled powered Hawaiian canoe for a pleasant, easy return trip!

This is a great way to explore and experience the great Kauai outdoors first hand. Definitely suitable for all ages. Our “guide” Zak was very friendly and knowledgeable during the entire event. He made sure all were safe and well equipped with proper hiking shoes (they are available if you forget yours). A few miles of kayaking, a mile hike in the jungle and a beautiful waterfall/pool to cool off in and enjoy your lunch. This is a great event to do as a family!

We loved kayaking down the Lihue River with Outfitters Kauai! Our guides Matais and Ross were phenomenal and made our trek down the river in the rain so much fun! Lunch was great too!

Exactly as billed -- easy kayak paddle, reasonable (if a little muddy) hike to a pretty spot, and a nice ride back. Our guide, Elvis, wasn't exactly a botany expert, but he was quite knowledgeable generally, very interactive, and had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed the trip thoroughly.
