Very cool demonstrations of the instruments and apothecary by my guide Kim. The passionflowers and other herbs were nice to see in the garden. Very informative and not gross at all. Even smells like lavender in there.

We found out about this little museum on another tour. It came highly recommended from a nurse. We went and were very pleased. Our tour guide, Joshua, was fantastic! He was able to answer our question and was able to explain things to us on our level. None of us are in the medical profession. Our ten year old daughter loved it! She said it was one of her favorite stops on our vacation. It is air conditioned and felt great on a hot day.

This is a must visit museum while in st Augustine! However if you get sick easily talking about brutal amputations and what not, ask ahead of time where to go if you need to leave. Also they don’t have the A/C running very much so that didn’t help my queasiness.
