Pets may not accompany you on your ebike rental.
Start times at the Hull's Cove Visitor Center are exact.
Cruise ship passengers will need to arrange travel to Hulls Cove Visitor Center as we have no human transport vehicles. We recommend the Island Explorer (free) or Cadillac Mtn. Shuttle (taxi). PLEASE plan this in advance.
Ebike battery charges last 30 to 50 miles depending on the effort and body weight of the renter.
All ebikes are class 1 (pedaling required) consistent with park service rules
We will text you 24 hours before your rental to remind you of the location and start time.
All ebikes come with an insulated bag, lock, phone holder, helmet and map.
All participants need to be capable of riding a typical pedal bike.

Island time was great -- the ebikes were high quality and in good working order and the communication from Ross and the team was always prompt and helpful. We did a five-day rental, which allowed us to ride on our own schedule and cover all of the Carriage Roads over the period of the rental. Acadia is a great place to ride, and I highly recommend using Island Time for your bike rentals.

The e-bikes were great, and we received good instructions and a good map of the carriage trails before we set off on our ride. We were allowed to have the bikes for 6 hrs, so we got to explore alot of the park. We rode for about 23 miles. It was a great way for us to spend the day!

What a fun experience! Was so helpful to meet up with the staff in the park vs getting the bikes in town and biking to Acadia. They gave us a map of the bike trails and answered any questions we had prior to entering the park. The helpful staff gave thorough instructions on using the e-bikes and what to do if we needed assistance during our rental period. Would highly recommend this company as well as biking the carriage roads in Acadia!
