Cruise ship passengers will need to arrange travel to Hulls Cove Visitor Center as we have no human transport vehicles. We recommend the Island Explorer (free) or Cadillac Mtn. Shuttle (taxi). PLEASE plan this in advance.
Ebike battery charges last 30 to 50 miles depending on the effort and body weight of the renter.
All ebikes are class 1 (pedaling required) consistent with park service rules
We will text you 24 hours before your rental to remind you of the location and start time.
All ebikes come with an insulated bag, lock, phone holder, helmet and map.
All participants need to be capable of riding a typical pedal bike.

I have only written two reviews in my life. Do NOT book this tour! The bikes ran out of electricity at 2:30 pm when tour was scheduled for an ending time of 4 pm. My son and husband had to push thier bikes up treacherous steep hills 5 miles away from exit spot. The bikes become very heavy without electricity and impossible to ride uphill. The loss of power dampened the entire experience. We were so excited for this trip but it became a nightmare at the end. When I asked for a refund, the company bluntly told me their bikes run from 30-50 miles depending? We rode 31 miles. We were not told this at the training. Paid over $500 for four tickets. Beware!

Sorry that the 30 mile trek around the Carriage Roads were so disappointing to you. The ebikes do get 30 to 50 miles depending on the weight and the effort applied. You have 2 strapping large sons with their football jerseys on that had to go north of 225lbs. I assume dad was in the same weight category. At what point did you become disappointed? Was it at 10 miles, 15 miles? It must not have been at 22 miles when according to our gps on your ebike that you was 2 miles from where the finish point was located. Instead of coming back for a 24 mile ride or taking the long way back which would have given you a 26 mile you chose instead to dive down into the park and head for the long climb around the mountain. This takes you exactly away from your finish location. When the men had 30% battery life left displayed on the ebike a simple math calculation would have made for a common sense route to finish but we understand that you were having such a bad experience that you had to keep going. You are not the first to make this incorrect decision so when you called us with a dead battery we brought you out new bikes at an agreed upon meeting location. I guess you decided to make another bad decision by going right by the location we were meeting you with the new bikes. When we got the ebikes back after you had them for the full 6 hour rental period the odometers read 35 miles. Threatening us with a 1 star review if we do not give you a full refund after using the ebikes all day plus the extra effort we applied based on some of your bad decisions is like ordering a steak dinner at a restaurant, eating the entire meal and then asking for a full refund. You ma'am are pathetic.

Rough start since my reservation was no where to be found! But IslandTime handled it very well. Beautiful day and weather. The maps given and the road markers were not easily matched, so take time to figure where you’re going! E bike riding is not like regular bikes, steep hills required higher gears with use of the turbo bike charge. Nit like being on a regular bike where you lessen the gears to get thru the steepness. After 1/2 hour we got it figured out and did 30+ miles in Acadia park. Fun way to see the park!

Had a great time riding the carriage roads in Acadia. The bikes were great and easy to operate! We had a group of three and one of our bikes broke down. A replacement bike was brought to us quickly and we were on our way again! I highly recommend this!
