Me and my husband did the half day jeep tour. We ended up with a Sequoia 4x4 vehicle instead of the open air jeep, which was a blessing. It was already 106 degrees when our tour left, and if we had been in the open air jeep, I think we would have been miserable. Isabel was our tour guide and she was amazing. She made the tour fun and exciting. It is definitely an off road tour. Would highly recommend this tour!

Great four hour adventure! Our guide was Colin; not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the Joshua Tree National Forest, but super nice and very skilled at driving through this rugged terrain. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to experience the Joshua Tree!

We took this tour the other day (August) when the temps were super hot. We were lucky to have two guides: Isabel who did the narrating and Joel who was our driver in training. It's clear that Isabel has been doing this for a long time. Her passion for the Joshua Tree park and surrounding areas is contagious. She was so knowledgable of the plants, wildlife and everything else in the park - we learned so much that afternoon! She even catered to my 10 year old son so that he was interested and engaged the entire time. Both Joel and Isabel made sure we were comfortable with the strong heat by providing snacks and cold water. We made multiple stops in the park for photo ops and to get closer views of the trees and amazing boulders. While the ride was bumpy (it is an off roading tour) I'm so glad we did this tour as we were able to see parts of the park that you can't see if you tour on your own. I enjoyed hearing the history of the area and the stories that make this area unique and you can't get that experience if you tour on your own. Overall, I highly recommend this tour! Next time we return we will do the San Andreas tour!
